With over 20 years of experience in community development and banking, I've found my greatest fulfillment in helping local businesses grow and create opportunities for families in our area. I'm an alumnus of Alma College, where I was honored to receive the Young Alumni Award.

I started my career in community development back in 2004, then moved into banking in 2013, where I've focused on commercial and agricultural lending. Over the years, I've developed expertise in areas like brownfield redevelopment and helping businesses navigate state grant and incentive programs. I'm a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned my Economic Development Finance Professional certification through Grow America.

Beyond my professional work, I'm deeply committed to giving back to the community. My biggest passion project is the Imagination Library of Barry County, where we provide free books to about 1,500 kids every month. Watching that program help improve youth literacy has been incredibly fulfilling. I also lead our Barry County chapter of Guys Who Give, where we support local causes with quarterly donations. Through my involvement with the Hastings Rotary Club, I've been honored to receive the Red Rose Award and Rotary Hero Award.

What I love most about this work is seeing the real impact when a small business gets the capital they need to expand, hire more people, and strengthen our local economy. Whether through commercial lending or community programs, I'm grateful for the opportunity to live, work, and give back in a place I truly care about.
