I am the Senior Vice President and Market President for Kent County at Highpoint Community Bank, bringing 25 years of expertise in commercial lending, credit risk management, and strategic market growth. Since joining Highpoint in 2013, I have led expansion efforts across Greater Grand Rapids and Kent County, playing a pivotal role in strengthening the bank’s commercial lending division.
Deeply engaged in the West Michigan community, I serve on the CCIM Board of Directors, the CARWM Education Committee, and the Diverse Business Enterprise Certification Evaluation Committee for the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce. I am also an active member of the Caledonia Chamber of Commerce and the Hudsonville Chamber of Commerce, and I continue to support the Hispanic Center of West Michigan in its growth and outreach efforts.
As a naturalized U.S. citizen and former immigrant, I bring a personal understanding of the barriers small businesses and minority communities often face: complex systems, language challenges, and limited access to trusted guidance. My life was transformed more than 25 years ago by the Hispanic Center of West Michigan, an experience that continues to fuel my commitment to serving immigrants, minorities, and small business owners with integrity, honesty, clarity, and care.
I am passionate about providing not only financial solutions but true empowerment, helping individuals and businesses gain confidence, stability, and long-term success. My blend of professional acumen and heartfelt community engagement makes me a trusted leader at Highpoint Community Bank and a respected voice within the West Michigan business landscape.
