Mark Kolanowski, President and CEO of Highpoint Community Bank, was honored with the Hugh Brenneman Distinguished Alumni Award from Alma College during their annual Homecoming celebration October 4th. This is the highest honor presented to Alma alumni, recognizing individuals who have brought distinction to the college through their professional achievements, set strong examples for others, and served their communities in ways that enhance the prestige of the college. A 1986 graduate, Kolanowski was active as an admissions tour guide, resident assistant, member of the Presidential Service Group, and president/founding consul of Sigma Chi’s Theta Nu Chapter. Kolanowski remains connected through lifelong friendships, fraternity events and professional networks with fellow Scots.
