Highpoint Community Bank (HCB) is pleased to announce the 2026 officer promotions of Ashley E. Van Alstine and Rebecca L. Mead, recognizing their leadership, experience, and continued dedication to serving our customers, teams, and communities.
Ashley E. Van Alstine | Senior Vice President, Retail Banking and Marketing

Ashley E. Van Alstine has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Retail Banking and Marketing, reflecting her long‑standing commitment to HCB and her impact on retail banking leadership and strategic growth.
Ashley originally joined HCB in 2000, serving with the bank until 2011. During that time, she held several frontline branch positions and advanced into branch management roles for the Nashville and Bellevue offices. She rejoined HCB in 2012 as a Retail Banking Officer, bringing valuable experience and leadership back to the organization. In 2016, Ashley was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Retail Banking, and continued her advancement to Vice President, Retail Banking and Marketing in 2022.
Ashley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Grand Valley State University. She is also a 2017 graduate of the Perry School of Banking and completed the Sales and Marketing School at the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2024, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to professional development and industry excellence.

Rebecca L. Mead | Vice President, Cash Management Officer

Rebecca L. Mead has been promoted to Vice President, Cash Management Officer, recognizing her strong leadership, broad banking experience, and consistent career growth within HCB.
Becky began her career at HCB in 2012 as a part‑time Teller at the Hastings branch. She was promoted to full‑time Customer Service Specialist in June 2014, and later that year advanced into the Lead CSS role after taking on personal loan responsibilities. This progression led to her participation in a Management Trainee rotation in 2015, followed by a transition into the Credit and Loss Mitigation Analyst position in 2016.
In May 2018, Becky stepped into the role of Branch Manager, leading the Hastings branch team. She was promoted to Cash Management Officer in 2020 and continued her advancement by earning the title of Assistant Vice President, Cash Management in 2023.
Becky holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Grand Valley State University, with a minor in Sociology, bringing both academic depth and practical banking experience to her leadership role at HCB.
